Lockdown of relationship…..Not everyone is happy staying at home.

People are enjoying their quarantine life happily with their family members and
life partner. People don’t always get this opportunity of spending a lot of time
with their family as this virus has provided.

In the 21st-century people are becoming more troglodyte or we can also say a
person who likes to live alone. They don’t like the interference of others in their
daily lives. In this pandemic situation, people are doing work from home and
spending a lot of time together than before.

But here the question arises “Is staying home having a negative effect on your
relationship?” Maybe for some people, it is a mental breakdown by being stuck
at home. Here where the interpersonal conflicts raises between family members.
Stress, conflicts, frustration, and spending more time with each other can cause
arguments. These conflicts have occurred due to short-term frustration but it
may have a bad impact on the family member’s mental health.

Many people might get the feeling of being criticized, contentment,
defensiveness, and stonewalling whenever they communicate with their partner
or family members. This feeling may arise due to lack of communication,
regular criticism by someone, being unheard, and miscommunication.

So, here are some suggestions for maintaining a healthy relationship during
lockdown:-

 Take care of yourself
 Get some physical exercises
 Share responsibilities
 Avoid passing insulting comments and being sarcastic
 Be polite and listen to other person point of view
 Try to give each other some space and time
 Respect each other’s privacy
 Don’t assume that another partner is aware of what you are thinking and
instead, share your thoughts with them
 Practice appreciation and gratitude
 Encourage and support each other
 Play board games or indulge in some interesting activities with your kids.

Getting unhealthy for health: COVID 19 a mental virus?

When I was a child I went to zoo, to watch animals that were locked in cage. At
that time I wasn’t sure how they felt but now I do, want to know why? Because
now everyone is locked in their homes because of a virus that nobody can even
see with their naked eyes.

COVID19 a type of coronavirus, is highly infectious disease. People who get
infected may get symptoms like difficulty in breathing, chest pain, dry cough,
fever and tiredness. This virus can spread by getting in the contact with the
person, who is suffering from COVID19 like through the droplets of saliva
when the person sneezes, shaking hand. It can also spread if you have touched
any surface that has virus on it and then touch your eyes, mouth or nose. The
best way to protect yourself is regularly washing of hands, sanitizing hands with
sanitizer containing 60 to 95% of alcohol and by not touching your face.

The world around us has become so restless and busy. We never had time for
ourselves, and now that we have time people don’t want it. Actually, people
can’t bear it and losing their senses: the sense of thinking straight, the sense of
normalcy, and the sense of happiness.

Instead of being happy with themselves, they are rushing and not taking rest.
Now they are wishing to get back to work. People are never satisfied with the
privilege they are blessed with in present and instead they get sad and worry
about their future.

The big question here is have we come very far? Do we need a virus to make us
take a break? Think about ourselves? Explore oneself? I would also like to add
a thought that, if a person was happy with oneself he would be happy staying
home alone.

My recommendations for the people during this crucial time of the year are:

 Find a new hobby
 Spend time with your loved ones
 Take care of your physical as well as mental health
 Watch your favorite movies and series
 Read as many books as you can
 Take rest
And yes, most importantly love yourself and explore yourself and your
surroundings.
Stay home! Stay safe!

Some researches have managed to be conducted have shown that coronavirus has
economic effects, and effects on daily life, as well as delays in academic activities, and
participants also showed anxiety symptoms.

medical staff working on the frontline of the coronavirus epidemic.

Amidst an overall pandemic, with urban communities and even whole nations closing down,
anxiety and panic is given. But there are ways in which we can manage it our anxiety
ourselves.

1. Stay away from the news if it makes your anxiety worse

7. Maintain a routine.
8. Exercise, relax and meditate daily.
9. Follow the precautions.
10. Help others in whatever way you can, this will help take your focus away from
yourself and make you feel better.
